So, it’s not only us whose stomach is protruding but the all-new Amazon Echo Devices 4^th Generation has also protruded and now becomes sphere in shape which I personally like very much.

I am talking about the newly launched Amazon Echo devices 4^th Generation. The full range of Echo range consists of Echo, Echo Dot and Echo Dot with Clock. All the new Echo comes in a newly design orb-like shape, means bigger and spherical.  However, the tactile design remains the same old fabric look. Although, Amazon has brought Echo Dot Special Kids edition in Tiger and Panda print design. Which to me personally liked it so much. Unfortunately, Echo Dot kid’s edition currently not for sale on Amazon.in. The Echo Dot devices are also boasted to be made with 100% recyclable material and low power mode.

Amazon has started taking orders for all its complete range from 25 September 2020. You can pre-order now and shipping will begin from 22 October 2020. The Echo Dot clock will ship from 5 November 2020.

Certainly, the first look of Amazon Echo 4th generation makes us fall in love with the orb-like look which considerably has been improved from Amazon Echo 3^rd Generation. Now, the ring light has been shifted from top to the base of the sphere. The Echo 4^th generation comes with built-in Zigbee smart home hub support which is common across all smart devices. It hosts an array of 4 microphones which help to detect voice anywhere from the room. It can also work as a normal Bluetooth speaker.

This generation comes with a dedicated mute button which can be turned off when not using voice commands.

Amazon Echo Dot with clock 4^th Generation

There is no change in design with the Amazon Echo however, the speakers you get it within is smaller than Echo. But there is something which especially this model has; LED display that displays, time, outdoor temperature and timer. Secondly, the built-in light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness, day or night. Lastly, all the buttons like mic off, volume up or down and action buttons come on top.

Gladly, Amazon has given a lower option that comes without an LED display. If you don’t want a clock, you can opt for this version and save Rs. 1000. However, all the other features remain the same as of Amazon Echo Dot with Clock.

Unfortunately, the Amazon Echo 4th generation Kids Edition is currently not available in the Indian Market. But these are undoubtedly cutest smart speakers available. Importantly, I personally will choose these over normal smart speakers. All-around wrapping of Tiger and Panda print is what we request Amazon to bring it to the Indian Market.
